NEAFA Mission Statement

“The mission of the Northeast Agribusiness and Feed Alliance is to support and grow a sustainable agribusiness industry in the Northeast.”

The Alliance was formed in 2004 when two longstanding organizations, the New England Grain and Feed Council and the Eastern Federation of Feed Merchants, merged to combine their collective strengths. The Alliance Board of Directors meets several times a year to focus on our strategic objectives of advocacy, collaboration and education.

NEAFA Value Statements

  1. Integrity/Trust - NEAFA is committed to following ethical principles that guide the professional actions of this organization and serve as a model for its members.

  2. Sustainability – NEAFA will remain sustainable in the Northeast by remaining committed to our mission, and participating in activities promoting agricultural advocacy, collaboration and education.

  3. Cooperation – NEAFA will accomplish our mission by actively working with other agricultural industry partners.

  4. Education/Learning – NEAFA will provide relevant and timely exchange of ideas and information to members through various platforms.

  6. Credibility - NEAFA is committed to being knowledgeable and delivering accurate and transparent information about issues impacting agriculture.

  7. Diversity and Inclusion – NEAFA is committed to working with groups and individuals with diverse backgrounds and will be inclusive to all types of organizations and members within agriculture.
